I just don't understand why they have to ruin this presidency for us. Like, seriously, I do not remember Bush's first year in office being nit-picked like this. (Later, he tended to get heat from liberal/Democratic pundits, of course, but that was over, you know. Actual issues. Like war. And policy. As opposed to whining over something this fundamentally stupid.)
