Nostalgia!

I just watched two episodes of the Disney Channel show Recess.  Remember that show?  I effin' loved that show when I was younger, and they rarely show it anymore except on that obnoxious Toon Disney channel.

Watching it again, I never realized how sophisticated some of the humor is.  There were references to the Cold War, communism, Dr. J. Oppenheimer, famous quotes by famous people...  I was laughing my butt off, without experiencing any of the mild shame I sometimes get when I watch shows I used to like that were really god-awful (Gummi Bears, anyone?  Powerpuff Girls?).

So, here is a sort of mini-meme!  What old shows do you miss?  Or old books, movies, etc....

I loved Recess. And Kim Possible. I was so obsessed with that show.

Yeah, like if you watch old Disney movies, you catch onto jokes you never understood. It's awesome socks :D
