Official Summer Anime List, 2009

EDIT (JUNE 15): Have made this sticky to remind myself where I'm at.  Do I expect to finish this whole list this summer?  No, but I'd like to at least put a dent in it.
***edited July 18

I've decided to make an official list of manga to read/anime to watch for this summer.  Anything you guys want to suggest is welcome!

Have Watched/Read in Their Entirety  (just for reference):
--ZombiePowder (manga)
--Ouran High School Host Club (anime)
--Millenium Snow (manga)
--Fullmetal Alchemist (first anime)
--Death Note (anime/manga/novel)
--Absolute Boyfriend (manga)
--Godchild/Cain Saga (manga)
--Uzumaki/Spiral (manga)
--The Demon Ororon (manga)
--Scrapped Princess (manga (three-volume spin-off from anime))
--Full Metal Panic! (anime)

Am Currently Following (just for reference):
--Naruto (anime/manga)
--Bleach (manga only)
--Ouran High School Host Club (manga)
--Fullmetal Alchemist (manga, following American release)
--D.Grayman (manga, following American release)
--Gentleman's Alliance + (manga, following American release)

Have Dropped For Various Reasons (just for reference):
--Angel Sanctuary (read one volume after finishing Godchild and was very squicked.  Not even Kaori Yuki's bishounen can make me read this.)
--Bleach (anime) (so...much...quality.......)

Have Begun, and Plan to Continue/Finish:
--Wolf's Rain (anime)
--Soul Eater (anime)
--Nabari no Ou (manga)
--Yu Yu Hakusho (anime/manga)
--Outlaw Star (anime)
--Hikaru no Go (manga)
--Shaman King (manga)
--Yu-Gi-Oh! (manga) (STOP JUDGING ME)
--bits and scraps of One Piece (manga)
--Code Geass (anime)

Stuff to Begin This Summer:
--Soul Eater (manga) (not sure if I'll watch the anime only or read the manga only or do both, feedback plz?)
--The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (anime)
--Fullmetal Alchemist (second anime) (!!!!!!!!!)
--D.Grayman (anime) (possibly may be watching the dub, which will be out soon.  Depends on how I feel.)
--Black Lagoon (manga)
--Samurai Champloo (anime)
--Sengoku Basara (anime)

Suggestions?  Recommendations?  Squeeing/Booing?

Read Uzumaki. It's short and really good/scary~~~

..and have you seriously not read/watched Fruits Basket. :/ DO IT.

I really liked "Baccano!" (which is only 13 episodes, OVAs aside.) One Piece is pretty good, except that the fights take forevvvver. I dunno, I wouldn't watch a lot at once, or it feels like a slog. Fairy Tail is quite good, (manga) and as a warning, I've heard that the dub for D. Gray Man is sort of horrible. Just thought I should say.

I recommend the Soul Eater anime, mostly because the anime art is gorgeous and the manga art is... rather fug. I love Ohkubo, but his art skills leave something to be desired.

I too have heard good things about One Piece, and I was quite impressed by the first volume.

Haruhiiii! :D

HARUHIIII~ is the best.
Seriously. The dub is actually good, too. I highly recommend it; the manga owns too, although they're different.
I should make a list like this... I doubt I'd actually end up watching/reading any of the stuff I put on it, though. =v=

FMA SECOND ANIME! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEEEEEEEEEEEE IT COMES OUT LIKE, TWO DAYS AFTER I TURN 17 OR SOMETHING :D :D :D

Oooo, D.Gray-Man *noms on* Approved!

Also, you NEED to read Fruits Basket (ahahahah, I am such a fantard *was about to write Furuba instead*). Of course, I probably just have a soft spot for it because it was my first ever manga, but it is still really good.

Also! I suggest Hikaru no Go for holiday reading ^_^ It is completely, and completely awesome.

Hana Kimi, is kinda cheesy but with oodles of win. The D.N anime made me laugh so hard as a sophmore I peed myself. But I think I like the manga better ♥ There's also...maid sama..which isn't the full name.

Ahh.

I used to watch Read or Die, but I totally digged the movie better than the show. It's kinda interesting. TENCHI MUYO...I spelled that wrong, Ahhh I'm consulting my Toonami days as a child. Silly Ana. But I was addicted to it as a child, I also loved boys over flowers the anime. I'm trying to think of more, I may or may not come back to it.

Okay Manga --

OMFG ON ONEMANGA THEY KILLED THE DEVIL DOES EXIST, i hope you read it. It's amazing, I friggin love it. Aishiteruze Baby, which I have not finished but I love to death. Alice 19th, which I liked to a degree I believe. Child's toy, both the manga and the anime (Kodomo no Omocha.) I adored both, THOUGH I couldn't never find much of the anime on youtube. Fushi yuugi is pretty good.

There's a lot more, but I have to talk about Suki about the names.

Were you planning on finishing legal drug? It's not coming out fast enough in America for me so I might just skip ahead and read it on Onemanga. Same goes for Gentleman's Alliance Cross.
Also, have you read Black Cat? I've been hearing a lot of good things about it but I've never gotten around to reading it...I wonder if it's any good.
Are you really going to watch/read One Piece? Shun, SHUN!Sasuke says to watch Bleach or your grounded from Naruto. But seriously, the animation quality hasn't been that bad lately. Even Dugras said so. You're not going to listen to me on this one anyway so just go watch your crappy filler kid on Naruto.
Oh, lol, Angel Sanctuary...I had forgotten about that...just lol. I'm sorry I even gave you that volume. I guess I didn't want to be scarred for life by myself.

That's a great list you have there! I should probably do the same...

Anime wise, two series I've finished that I think you'll enjoy are blood+ and Witch Hunter Robin!
