"Deidara-sempai, why do you look so sad?" Deidara's masked compatriot looks down at his hands. "Your bombs haven't been high-quality lately, either..."

Deidara scowls. "It's none of your business, Tobi, hmm?" He winces slightly as he claps his palms together to make another bomb. Out of nowhere, Tobi grabs his wrist and turns it over.

Exactly. Either it comes from being old and in hiding for like sixty years and having no one to interact with but a bunch of psycopaths, or he's just always been like that. Maybe that's the real reason why the clan quit listening to him.
