But I feel sort of relieved about it, now that I did it. Now I can concentrate on the things I wanted to do this summer, like seeing my RL friends in the few hours I get to myself every day, and writing that big PokeSpe fanfiction I talked about a while ago, and reading all the books I keep bringing home. And I'm coming back to my games when work is over, so it's not really dropping so much as extended-lock-down-hiatusing.
In the world of PokeSpe recaps, I get to do my favorite chapter in the RBG arc tomorrow. I am so excited omg *____*

I'm thinking about taking a hiatus for a week in all my games, as a Band-Aid measure until I can figure my life out.
I just did my first afternoon shift yesterday.
For those of you who have not heard me bitching about this for the past two weeks, I just began a summer job at a book printing company working on the production floor. I have to wear earplugs and steel-toed boots. I have to load things into machines. I have to stand and lift things for eight hours. That is basically the gist of this job. It is exhausting, both physically and mentally (in the way that completely mindless continual work is exhousting due to the sheer mental BOREDOM that occurs while your feet try to gnaw themselves from your ankles), and though I have time in the mornings to tag, right now I don't know if I will be able to mentally handle it. I just said "mentally" like three times in a row. Augh.
Now, excuse me while I crawl somewhere and pass out.

I basically spent all day internally squeeing because one of our new muns at Kannagara is a former Suzaku-mun who has not expressed aversion to the idea of bringing him to Kannagara; cue me biting my lip for seven hours because I promised myself I wouldn't be obnoxious and startpersuading PESTERING (call a spade a spade, self) her to maybe possibly please oh please for the love of god bring him what do you want I can give you money.

Apr. 4th, 2010 11:29 pmI have to start automatically calling RP hiatuses when I go home for periods of time shorter than a week. I never get on the computer when I'm spending limited amounts of time with my family. Especially around holidays.
Easter was nice. Especially nice when I evolved my Eevee into an Umbreon after three straight days of grinding, grooming, and pampering. rofl that's probably some sort of blasphemy or something.
HNNNNGH to-do list:
~Aphra Behn Paper: due April 9
~Human Voice Project: due April 21
~History test: April 21, for which I have to do nine long chapters of reading FML FML
~oh yeah, and STUDYING FOR EVERYTHING EVER
I'm still better off than I was at this time last semester, though, so that is something to look at as an accomplishment :U
I'm also sooo behind in RP, |D. In XI, I just kind of hover around the fringe, but I think I have some tag left hanging from last week still. :/ feeling kind of bad about that, but I know I'm not going to do it tonight, my brain's not in the right shape. One the one hand, I'd like to play there, but on the other hand, I'm not so sure how I'll manage four games during academic crunch time. Maybe I should wait a month and app him during the May cycle, so I'll have time to do all the things I have to get done this month. But then I'd feel like a dick... On the other hand, I could app him, get him going with some CR and things, and then hiatus around finals week to rid myself of distractions. HMM. this would not be happening if I weren't so easily enabled gdit.
