I have a seafood allergy. It's not too bad if I eat something else which I am not allergic to first, or only eat a little at a time, but I realized I was allergic to seafood when I went out with my family for a birthday dinner and binged on a gazillion mussels and shrimp at the all you can eat buffet. I was advised to eat moderately for both of them, which made me very very sad.

Anyway, I'm glad you found medication and don't love your allergens with a passion I hope!
