1. When I started shipping them I used to get drabble ideas by turning on my iPod and writing a random vague summary based on whatever song came up. When "Kill All Your Friends" by My Chemical Romance came on one night, I wrote a summary and wanted it to be a pairing with Itachi. But I couldn't think of any female characters I could really see being with him, until, for shits and giggles, I wrote "Anko." And then halfway through writing the one-shot, I started thinking, holy shit this actually makes sense. Cue my greatest crackship creation of all time. Of all time.
2. What I think their challenge is The fact that they've never met in canon |D also all their issues
3. What makes me happy about them Super ridiculous hotness. Also, they are both total WOOBS except Anko is much more functional.
4. What makes me sad about them I just said they're both total woobs, didn't I? Itachi is so depressing, and Anko is, too, or at least my headcanon for her is. IT ALSO MAKES ME SAD THAT SHE'S NEVER IN CANON ANYMORE WTF.
5. What moment I wish had never happened Again, changing this to "had happened:" I wish Anko had gotten to speak to Sasuke after the Chuunin Exams, about Orochimaru and the Curse Seal especially. What does this have to do with Itachi? ...Good question. I just want it to deepen my Anko headcanon |D
6. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other Itachi: No one. He's pretty unshippable (despite the fact that I whore him around for the pretty anyway |Da) Anko: Iruka. He would be SO GOOD for her, and she deserves a nice guy.
7. My happily ever after for them AHAHAHA YOU'RE FUNNY.
