elementalhero | Vampire Knight 9-10: EFF YEAH

I had several reactions to the latest two episodes of Vampire Knight.

One: THAT. BITCH. (Needs no more explanation.)

Two: ANIME TWINS SMACKDOWN.

The Hitachiin twins' title of Best Anime Twins Ever is being seriously challenged by the Kiryuus. Not only are mini-Zero and mini-Ichiru the cutest things in the universe since puppies were born, they are now the angstiest things in the universe since the word "angst" was assimilated into the English language from German. Seriously, how about their dynamic? At first, they had the total Hikaru/Kaoru relationship gong on where they seemed to be the only people in each other's universe, but now it looks like there's some serious....I don't even have a word to define it, because of the way Episode 10 ended. Is it hate, the most powerful variety of hate caused by love that becomes curdled and warped? Is it just anger on Zero's part, directed not at Ichiru, but at the ~~bitch~~ person who caused him to become what he is? Is it...thinly veiled anguish, caused by loneliness? Also, what is Ichiru's mental state? He has that vaguely creepy half-smile going on, but that could be a mask to keep his sanity at least salvageable--from that scene in Episode 9, he is visibly repelled by Maria/Shizuka. AIEEEEE I'M SO EXCITED~

ALSO: WHO IS VOICING ICHIRU? MINI-ICHIRU WAS IFFY, BUT I THINK IT MIGHT BE MAMORU MIYANO CHANGING IT UP A LITTLE. WHICH MEANS DOUBLE MAMORU MIYANO OH MY EFFING PANCAKES. *dies and goes to heaven*
