I actualy have a sort of bastardized version of the plot I had for that fic bubbling away on a back burner in my mind somewhere as a novel idea, but I don't foresee it doing anything in even the relatively near future. The short-story-I-wrote-in-Creative-Writing-with-potential-to-be-a-novel-given-more-character-development-and-subplots, however... :D
I'm actually quite unimpressed with the concept of NaNoWriMo. If people were meant to write novels in single months, timed, and post them on the interwebz so their hopes of ever getting published are dashed, they'd do it more often. IMO.
