This episode is simultaneously made of win and made of WTF.  For example:

(Ichigo's hand is impaled into the ground by a sword.)
Normal Human Being's Reaction: HOLYSHIT THERE'S A SWORD IN MY HAND AND IT HURTS LIKE A MOTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1ELEVENTYONE
Ichigo's Reaction: How dreadfully inconvenient that this sword has pinned my right hand to the ground, rendering me terribly vulnerable to attack!  YAY RUKIA SHOWED UP AND SAVED ME :D

Rukia: Holding an extended conversation with my head five inches from my opponent's hand makes me cool!
Grimmjow: *SNATCH*
Rukia: HOSHIT MY BRAAIIIIIIINS.
Ichigo: *coughBITLATETOWORRYABOUTTHOSEcough* By the way, do you think you could do something about the sword that's still in my hand?

Oh, and RE: Ichigo's amazing ownage in Hollow form:  THAT WAS THE LONGEST ELEVEN SECONDS I EVER SAW.  But I didn't mind this one so much because the extra time dilation made for some Smooftastic viewing.

Best part of whole episode?

SHINJI'S.  HOLLOW.  FORM.  FOR.  THE.  WIN.

It helps that it lasts longer than eleven seconds.
