New Year's and other insanity

This is going to be a very long post. *sweatdrop*
First off: FIRST KISS. :D AT THE MOVIES. (specifically National Treasure 2. WHICH ROCKED.)
Okay, so first we held hands the whole time. :D His hand was really warm, wth. Funny story: at one point in the movie, Nicholas Cage sticks his hand into a hole and everyone is waiting for some horrible trap to go off. At the height of tension, I suddenly squeaked (on purpose) and squeezed his hand really tightly. He yelled "AAAGH!" and scared the bejeezus out of some people in fromt of us. I died laughing.
(Also, points for whoever gets this: They get sealed into a cave by a giant circular stone. When everyone is trying to push it, I leaned next to Sean and whispered in a fake
AND AND AND ANDTHEN. We were waiting out in the lobby of the theater for his ride. I looked up at the chandelier and whispered, "Dammit." He asked, "What?" And I said, "I was hoping there'd be mistletoe up there." And he smiled and said, "Who needs mistletoe?"
AND AND AND--
:D
I'd better shut up.
Skip the cut if you don't want to get bowled over by gooeyness.
OKAY. GUESS WHAT? I FINALLY SAW WICKED. I was afraid to post here that I got tickets for Christmas because of Murphy's Law. Seriously, we weren't expecting to see it until mid-summer, and then my parents pop up with tickets for December 30th. Reaction = :OOOOO.
The show was spectacular. Was absolute win. I came close to passing out from sheer excitement. asjdksa BOQ. D: I didn't realize his story was so SAD. My favorite song, "Wicked Witch of the East," isn't even on the soundtrack. DX
BUT THEN I ALMOST DIED. :O
We were waiting for the train, and you wouldn't believe the crowds. It was sick. Everyone was milling around and then the track number got posted on the screen. Immediately, you could hear everyone saying the track number and rush for the gate. We were twenty feet away and got caught in the rush instantaneously--we couldn't turn back if we wanted to. I nearly got crushed by the milling throng--one jerk behind me was pushing with all he had; I could hear him talking to his wife like, "Once I get through these people, we can get on." Me: *thinking* "Oh no, you don't!"
Then I lost my grip on my sister. I started screaming, "No, no, I can't get separated!" My mother heard me and grabbed my hand over the heads of four people; I pulled myself through the people. Some guy was laughing and saying my name, which he had heard from my mother, to encourage me: "Go, *blank*, go!" We got down to where the train was and my mother screamed, "Get on the train!!!"
Almost miraculously, we found an empty car and seats--I think the fact that almost no one could make it down alive was the reason we got seated.
I'm glad I don't live in
Oh, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
My goals:
1. Find more time for writing, both fanfiction and original fiction. This includes putting to good use the time I do set aside.
2. Keep my grades up. My Chemistry class ends in two weeks, thank the good Lord, which will help.
3. Lose the three or four pounds I probably gained this holiday season. Any more are gravy, pardon the unintentional pun.
4. Look at colleges. I'm sick of my relatives dragging the subject up every single time they see me and me not having good enough answers for them.
5. Get ideas for my AP English research paper. I don't have this class until next year, but from all reports, I should get a head start now.
6. Catch up to the Bleach anime so I only have to watch it once per week. This will give me time for other things but will probably end up getting squandered on new anime.
EDIT: AAARGH I HATE THIS STUPID FONT.
