Well, since you both asked so nicely... C:

I am actually super happy with this chapter for a few reasons:

1. RP. I play Sasuke at squarewarts and right now, there's a big event going on where Sasuke's getting to kind of break out and do some violent stuff, while meanwhile I have been trying to improve my tags with a lot of internal exposition and imagery, description, etc. The point is, I had been running dry of metaphors and imagery over the past couple of days, and thinking, geez, I wish I had some great visual reference to help kick my description into gear and give my muse that extra oomph for this thread...

And lo and behold, Masashi Kishimoto gave me Chapter 462. It was kind of beautiful.

2. Madaraaaaaaaaa~ I love Madara so much, and his mindf**kery regarding Naruto and Sasuke is fun to watch. I was disappointed that his recounting of Itachi's story to Naruto and co. happened off-screen, though--I kind of wanted a better sense of Naruto's reaction in particular (given his history with weird encounters with Itachi).

3. It's interesting to watch Sasuke in this chapter. His body language, his overall complete lack of banter in battle, which is somewhat of a first--even if he isn't talking, Kishimoto usually gives us his internal exposition. The lack of this is making me suspicious, like maybe Sasuke's current thought processes (if he is thinking at all right now) aren't exactly following what we've been given to believe. Also, he's very pretty. I am always in favor of this.

4. JUUGO CANNON!!!!!!! XD I kind of wanted a little more angst/internal exposition regarding Sasuke giving him the green light on complete insanity, though. I feel like their relationship, which is very interesting, is not being given the proper spotlight/consideration/attention.

5. Suigetsu and Karin continuing to be awesome.


I may be in the minority of people enjoying the latest chapters, though. >.>

Sasuke. Depending on the status of my other muses and what's going on in canon and my real life, this fluctuates, but both right now and averaged out overall, it's Sasuke. For some reason, his head is the easiest for me to climb into, and sometimes I feel like I understand his somewhat demented way of thinking better than I understand my own. :/ He's very complicated, but at the same time, simplistic.

Mmmm, I dunno, I love crossovers, so instead of "dream" crossover (of which I have a lot), I'll just say that the crossover I've been wanting to see for the longest time is a Kingdom Hearts/Naruto crossover (SH-SHUT UP, KH IS A CANON THAT LENDS ITSELF TO CROSSOVERS. IS, IN FACT, A CANON COMPRISED OF CROSSOVERS.) that explores, in depth, the nature of child violence and cultures that promote/condone it, as well as cross-cultural understanding and the nature of light and darkness. I'D DO IT MYSELF, BUT I'D END UP HATING MYSELF. ;_;

As for RPing, it has to be the social aspect. I love getting into chat and seeing who's behind the black ops specialist or psychic ghost or pirate. :D Also, INTERNAL EXPOSITION!!11ONEONE
