Easier said that done, obviously, but I guess you should have a talk with your roommate. Maybe set a rule that anything to do with smelly chemicals should stay in the gd bathroom -- emphasize that you have a really strong sense of smell or something if that'd make her more sympathetic to your point -- and maybe with those things out of the way, the chewing won't be such an issue, and like you said, the windows won't have to be opened either.
She just sounds frustrating in general, with her habits, so I hope you guys manage to work it out D:
