There's a Boy in the Girl's Bathroom, by Louis Sachar. I was sixteen when I read it for the first time, and I about bawled at a book that clearly isn't trying to be played as a tear-jerker. Just...the psychological profile of this nasty, nasty kid and why he doesn't deserve pity and why he does at the same time and klkjalfsjaklfhdsjklfdhasjl IN A KID'S BOOK, COME ON. THIS MAN. I WILL MARRY HIM.

A sequel to Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, which was in turn a sequel to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, to turn it into a Charlie trilogy. ( ;A; Roald Daaaahhhhllllll~)

The Red Badge of Courage, by Stephen Crane. This man is an amazing author except for this single piece of crap, and it's the one he's known for. FACEDESK.
