elementalheroOkay, so right after I had my midnight Naruto vs. Bleach revelation, I went to bed and had the best, most epic Bleach-based dream ever.
There were explosions and falling buildings and guns and roses and fire and epic battle and my old first grade teacher's aide (on Aizen's side) for some reason, and God only knows what more was there that I forgot, but it was THE MOST EPIC DREAM THAT I HAVE EVER HAD.
Bleach must have really been pissed at me last night. XD
Thank God I wrote most of it down before my short-term memory dumped it. Before this, the only dream I'd ever had involving one of these series was the one where Itachi trapped Sasuke in a grocery store using his Mangekyou Sharingan (I remembered the entire name during the dream, by the way), but Sasuke discovered the secret to escaping by pulling the blanket off his head that Itachi had thrown there, and then they were about to do epic brotherly battle but I woke up.
My dreams usually shift perspective a lot--generally between me being the main character of the dream, and me being a third-party observer, and sometimes even me being a third-party observer but controlling the actions of the main character. This time around, the main character was Ichigo, and for some reason, the action took place in this epic amalgam of all dystopian-urban-cities-at-night ever. Imagine throwing Karakura at night into a blender with one of the GTA cities and Haven City from the Jak games and my hometown (but you don't know where that one is, so forget it).
So Ichigo gets on this city bus, and for some reason, he sees that Aizen is driving the bus wearing this ridiculous Tastee-Freeze-type pink paper hat and uniform, but he doesn't really think anything of it, because he was expecting it (?). There was a brief cheesy staredown, anime-style (close-up on eyes narrowing, possibly a split-screen). Ichigo remembers that he was told that there would be a car bomb under the third seat on the right side, but he sits down in the front seat on the right side so that he can get to it in time to protect all the people on the bus (Wow, he's more IC in my dreams than in my actual fanfiction! X{ ). Luckily, he knows that the bomb is set to go off at exactly 1:39. He's riding on the bus for a bit, biding his time and keeping a suspicious eye on Aizen, when some kids get on and sit--taking up two seats in front of him. Ichigo is momentarily disoriented, thinking "Hey wait, didn't I get on the front seat, closest to Aizen and away from the--OHSHIT I'M ON TOP OF THE BOMB," realizing that Aizen must have gotten him with Kyouka Suigetsu during their quick staredown and made him think he was getting on a different seat. He quickly checks the time, but the clock says that it's 1:53. Ichigo figures that Aizen set it wrong to trick him, and cuts the bus in half (with Zangetsu, perhaps? [???]), but the bomb goes off and miraculously no one is hurt.
Ichigo ends up teaming up with Rukia and Renji, running around the city and trying to protect people from various villains--a scene that sticks out in my mind is one where Ichigo and ...some nameless guy with muscles end up racing this guided missile through several classrooms in a school. After the bus-chopping incident, I don't remember seeing any more zanpakutous--it was all rocket launchers, grenades, and automatic pistols. Also, for no reason, the Juggernaut (???????) makes an appearance, trying to rush Ichigo but missing and breaking an entire skyscraper. And also, all the vizards turn up at one point to help Ichigo and Rukia out, because for some reason, Renji ended up disappearing (chasing after Tousen, I want to say?). I remember some scene where Rose had to carry Lisa out this door away to safety--perhaps she was injured--and thinking, No, that's not right, she ought to be carried by Kensei. Oh, and Ichigo was trying to crush this guy's head with his bare hands (lolwut?), but he didn't have enough strength to do it, so (and this is the illogical, plot-hole-ridden part) he takes one hand off the guy's head to put on his mask to get a boost. Looking back, of course, that...doesn't make sense. (Maybe he transferred the guy's head to his armpit to do it one-handed?) BUT HE DID IT ANYWAY, AND IT WAS PRETTY BAMFY.
