Re: Naruto, ch. 307-308--Ahaha, Sasuke, you've developed into such an emotionless manipulative bastard. I'm pleasantly surprised Jump even let Kishimoto take it this far with his development. I mean, Death Note is one thing (Light Yagami, you tasty bitch), but to allow a main character in a moral-tastic manga aimed at the young'uns to go so bad is, like, astonishing. He doesn't even sound redeemable at all. Of course, I shouldn't count my sociopaths before they hatch--this is, after all, very early on in Shippuuden. His angst'll probably turn up sooner or later.
But still, what is it with sociopaths that is so ridiculously interesting at the same time that it's horrible? Is it that having no sympathy for another human being whatsoever gives the illusion, instinctively and biologically speaking, of control, and by extension, stability and strength? I don't know. It's something worth giving a thought to, I think.
EDIT: And how about sociopaths who stop being sociopaths and opt to be so cute as to make heads explode??? STOP BREAKING MY BRAINS, SAI, STFU. <3 <3 <3
