Nostalgia!

I just watched two episodes of the Disney Channel show Recess.  Remember that show?  I effin' loved that show when I was younger, and they rarely show it anymore except on that obnoxious Toon Disney channel.

Watching it again, I never realized how sophisticated some of the humor is.  There were references to the Cold War, communism, Dr. J. Oppenheimer, famous quotes by famous people...  I was laughing my butt off, without experiencing any of the mild shame I sometimes get when I watch shows I used to like that were really god-awful (Gummi Bears, anyone?  Powerpuff Girls?).

So, here is a sort of mini-meme!  What old shows do you miss?  Or old books, movies, etc....

Well, uh, hopefully. We're 5000 words down on the latest Ozy chapter, incidentally (we both fell asleep becafore we could get it done) and it's shaping up to be another 9000 word one. Well. 8000 at the very least.
