... you should think about daisychainrpg .... we have a Sasuke and Daddy-Uchiha and Sasori and then a tonne of characters from all over the shop, but it'd be awesomesauce to have you there too. >.>
lksklslssl I STILL LOVE YOU. I just got all excited reading dollsyhouse's description (though I'm already considering switching to a different character, but the result would be basically the same).
I'm actually also consdiering looking into daisychain (though I've never seen Cloverfield)--weren't you on there a while ago? (Or am I thinking of someone completely different?)
Eh, I was at Daisychain for a while, yeah. I hear it's a lot of fun if you can break into a clique or two, which (apparently) other people do all the time, but none of my characters were ever able to. So, I didn't have a great experience there, but that may be just me, since everybody else was having a boffo time when I left. X3;
So I totally understand how you feel there, because I felt really overwhelmed just by how huge it is the first couple of months, but now I am having a total ball. Still if you ever wanted to come back I'd throw characters at you 8D (... which could actually be traumatizing.)
Ehh, I don't think it's just the hugeness, since I've played all right in at least one game that was even bigger and just as fast... it's more as if, the characters I like to play as aren't ones that anybody there really wants to play with, for whatever reason. (Cause I'm in all these one-man fandoms, most likely...)
I just... I guess I don't really fit in with the extant playerbase, that's all.
Huh. That is strange - I have found everyone has been really friendly with characters that were sort of random and didn't really fit (Anya from Buffy, notably) although I can understand how you feel on that one.
Honestly, I just threw myself in chat and somehow endeared myself to them. I think hanging out in chat or knowing people who already play there or being chipper and emailing folks helps a lot. But uh... yeah. Thats just how I roll >.> (But if you do come back--! lol ^_^ Who did you play, if I may ask?)
I don't get it myself. I'm personal friends with a bunch of the muns already, so it makes triple-no-sense. Maybe I'm just an old hat, idk. @ω@
(Well, I wasn't there for very long at any given time, but I've played there as Keiichi, Akagi Makoto, Jaster Rogue, and Kariya. I kinda doubt I'm coming back, though. X3)
