My Internet was down. For four days. I died a little bit inside.
And wow. I have SO much to blog about. In alphabetical order!
--Alex Rider. These novels are. AMAZING. I've read up to Ark Angel, but Scorpia was my favorite. Because Alex is the best ninja assassin in the history of time. That's right, Naruto, Alex is calling you out. Pizza delivery...of death! Also, it's awesome how Anthony Horowitz doesn't write in swear words--he lets us use our imaginations. I have nothing but respect for that. I need to see the Stormbreaker movie with Alex Pettyfer. *drool*
--Avatar. My friend Jade has been raving about it to me. Now I want to see solely because of Zuko, who is apparently both the biggest dork ever and also a total bamf at the same time. wickedxxlovelywas going to lend me her DVD box set of Book One, but that fell through. I wouldn't have been as disappointed as I was if I hadn't already been bailed on by friends this week, like, twice.
--Bail-outs from friends. People keep making plans with me and canceling at the last minute, ruining my day. Am I that much of a loser? :,{
--Birthday. It's on July 4th. I'm excited. :D
--Dean Koontz. I've started reading the Odd Thomas series. Holy mother of everything, wow. Dean Koontz is a good freaking writer. Much better than James Patterson, who makes me feel like I have ADD. (I hate James Patterson.)
--Dieting. I've lost four pounds in two weeks so far just from exercising and keeping my caloric intake in the 1500-1800 range. :DD
--First day of summer, today. Has been good; could have been better.
--Outlaw Star. I've been watching this anime; a friend lent me all 26 episodes. I'm up to Episode Ten. Has anyone seen this besides me? It's really good. Completely old-school, in a great way. Gene Effing Starwind. :D (Also, it wins for having a character named Jim Hawking.)
--Sunburn. I rarely used to burn. I'd always burn slightly once and then remain tan for the rest of the summer. Well, I got a bad burn playing softball last weekend, and now I look like my shoulders caught leprosy. I blame global warming. My shoulders hurt. I hope I don't develop cancer.... :[
