As he stalked away, Kallen heard C.C. mutter, "You didn't answer her question..."
"I'm not crying," he insisted, pulling his knees tight to his chest.
She gently touched his cheek, rubbing her fingers together. "Oh, but you are," she said, smiling venomously. "Do you know what happens to little boys who cry?"
He wasn't answering, so she leaned in. "They grow up into big boys who cry."
