~HELLS TO THE YES! I love Sakura in this chapter. I mean, skaljdskld she's learned how to do the right thing even if it's hard and she's trying to get Naruto through this without hurting him too much, but when it's finally obvious he's not going to listen, she's like OKAY, COME ON, MY MAN-HAREM, WE'RE GONNA HAVE TO KILL SASUKE ALL BY OURSELVES, and Kiba and Lee and everyone following her around like YES FUTURE HOKAGE-SAMA and just afkjdlfjskaljasklfa I don't care what anyone says, she's awesome. \o/ \o/ \o/ \o/ \o/

~And yes, okay, I can't get through this review without mentioning that there do happen to be some weird homoerotic undertones in this fighting just with all the stabbing and holes and puncture-wounding and okay can we get back to Sakura and/or Madara please, this is not exciting. :/

Because, long story short, she tried to convince Naruto to stop chasing Sasuke by confessing that she didn't love Sasuke anymore and that Naruto didn't need to keep the promise he made her; furthermore, she tried to add a sense of urgency by telling Naruto she was really in love with him. Then Naruto told her that he was chasing Sasuke for himself, because Naruto really felt like he ~understands~ him now.

And then Sakura was like OKAY, PACK IT UP, BOYS, WE GOTTA GO KILL SASUKE OURSELVES BECAUSE NARUTO CAN'T GIVE UP ON HIS LOVER :/

A lot of people are angry that she would try to manipulate Naruto that way, even for his own good (even though it's left vague whether it's all totally an act, or that she actually believes what she's saying on some level), whether for shipping purposes or just out of a sense of HEY THAT WASN'T NICE.

I, on the other hand, think that it was awesome that she proved to be capable of being cruel to be kind, and that she'd do something that hurt her (i.e., hurting Naruto, and there is a panel of her silently shedding tears and thinking Naruto, I'm sorry) in order to help Naruto emotionally in the long run, and that she's obviously able to put her continuing feelings (no matter what those feelings actually are at this point) for Sasuke behind her in order to do what needs to be done and dfkjsljfaklfj.

I mean, come on. SHE'S A NINJA.
