[personal profile] elementalhero
001. What song are you currently addicted to?

002. What are you currently reading?
Beloved, by Toni Morrison. And also Bored of the Rings, the parody by the Harvard Lampoon.

003. What was the last movie you saw?
Sadly, I think the last movie I sat down and watched was the first Pokemon movie while drunk on Spring Party Weekend. :|

004. What makes you angriest/most frustrated right now?
My weird recurring headaches. And some other things.

005. Favorite historical figure?
Saint Thomas Beckett. I fell in love with his story through T.S. Eliot's play Murder in the Cathedral. The reasons were best summed up by Kate Beaton in this comic.

I mean seriously, Eliot gives him this line:

Now is the way clear; now is the meaning plain
Temptation shall not come in this form again
The last temptation is the greatest treason
To do the right thing for the wrong reason.

*____*

006. What is your current addiction?
Coca-Cola. We had all Coke products at school and I got into a general "one Coke per day or two days" routine, and now I crave it all the time and it pisses me off. >c

007. Rename a country and explain why.
My room -> The United States of Japan. >D

008. Something about you that most people don't know? Extra points if it is interesting.
I went to the National Spelling Bee. Also I have double-jointed thumbs. At one point, I had every line of the movie The Emperor's New Groove committed to memory.

009. What was the last thing you bought?
Two boxes of Hot Pockets.

010. Do you have more friends online or off?
Quantitatively, offline. Qualitatively as a percentage of quantity, online. But the top three closest people to me are people I know IRL.

I still love you guys, though~ ♥

011. Something that made you laugh today?
Watching episodes 25 and 26 of the Naruto Abridged Series.

012. Favorite non-alcoholic beverage?
Milk.

013. What was the last thing you ate?
A slice of reheated pizza, a plate of tortilla chips with cheese melted on them, and a Red Delicous apple.

014. Favorite superhero team?
Thom Creed, Ruth, Golden Boy, Typhoid Larry, and Scarlett, from Perry Moore's Hero.

015. Favorite website?
Either Livejournal or TV Tropes.

016. What are you plans for tomorrow?
Wake up earlier than usual to be at new workplace for 10 am for drug screening and paperwork. \o/ Then sleep all day.

017. What kind of music is contained in your hard drive?
GOOD MUSIC.

018. Worst remake ever?
/vague shrug

I'm not usually all that hostile to remakes.

019. Pet peeve?
Grammatical errors.

020. Guilty pleasure?
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

They really are.

There's a scene in The Lion in Winter where Eleanor and Henry are yelling at each other (because they do that a lot) and Henry says "Let's have a list of the beds you've spread out on." And Eleanor responds like "Thomas Beckett's :')" And it's like the best trolling ever because Henry is trying SO HARD not to flip his shit.

I have been meaning to see that movie. My AP English teacher highly recommended it after we watched Beckett. Apparently the same guy plays Henry in both of them.

Peter O'Toole. Yes! He's awesome. Those movies made me a huge fan of his. \o/ And Katharine Hepburn is Eleanor and Anthony Hopkins is Richard. The cast is epic.
