IN WHICH I DON'T DO MY HOMEWORK

NARUTO
Among the characters left alive, definitely Madara. I don't think it's even a question anymore.
His fantastic qualities are:
1. He is an Uchiha, which I am absolutely stupid for,
2. He is a total troll, which is a quality usually reserved for minor/secondary/sympathetic ineffectual villains, but he's the BIG ULTIMATE FINAL BOSS GUY DUDE, so it's even better,
3. He's absolutely hilarious. "Fourth Hokage...Minato. Make another move and your son dies at the ripe old age of one minute." And he attacked someone by punting his own arm at them.
4. On the note of the above quote, how many villains do you know of that are so badass, they trolled the protagonist's very BIRTH? Yeah, I thought so.
5. He has this wacky charisma that makes me like him even when I know he's evil and absolutely batshit. At this point, I'm rooting for the Moon's Eye Plan! Can you imagine the hilarious trollery of a world run by Madara Uchiha? I WANT TO LIVE IN SUCH A WORLD.
Among all characters, living and deceased, it's still Itachi. But I think you guys have heard enough about him from me to last you several lifetimes.
POKEMANS:
Tough choice on all counts, but I have to go with Ruby.
Look at that face. HOW COULD YOU SAY NO TO THAT FACE. But anyway. Ruby's awesome because he actually starts out as not-that-great a person, and develops over the course of his arc into someone who actually cares about people other than himself, despite having serious self-esteem and relationship issues stemming from his relationship with his father, whose idea of effective parent-child communication is punching - not throwing, punching - him down a flight of stairs! 8D
He is also a Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass who hates fighting, yet is actually a master battler potentially on par with some of the more badass Dex Holders (sadly, we haven't gotten to see him fight any of them but Emerald, who had to win because it was his arc >c). He sews. He can perform field first aid, and is actually one of the smarter/more analytical Dex Holders (when his glasses are on). Ruby also is a member of my absolute favorite pairing in existence, the other member being Sapphire, who kicks ass and doesn't afraid of anything. o9

Foregone conclusion: Lelouch. I mean, I have no fewer than three pictures of him in his underwear on my hard drive.
I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW THEY GOT THERE, THEY JUST APPEARED ONE NIGHT. I DON'T REMEMBER SAVING THEM. I CAN'T DELETE THEM. THEY'RE JUST. THERE.
I believe I may have been a victim of this GIF:
LELOUCH VI BRITANNIA COMMANDS YOU TO BE EXCELLENT TO EACH OTHER AND ALSO TO PARTY ON DUDES. okay those cold meds have totally kicked in if I have been finding this funny.
ANYWAY. Yes. I love Lelouch because I feel like he's one of the few characters I've ever really, truly, empathized with. That's pretty sad, rofl. But he's just so well-developed, and flawed, and tragic, and three-dimensional, and really smart but also a bit of an idiot, and he just tries the best he can with what he's got, which just happens to include royal ancestry, a crazy mind-control eye, and a DRAMATIC CAPE that I believe to be the true source of his power.
Also, you gotta love a character who says, completely seriously, "It wasn't me who was wrong. IT WAS THE WOOOOOOOOORLD!" BD aww, yeah, shit's going down, son.
Finally, he doesn't just try to take over the world...

THAT IS SOMETHING, RIGHT THERE.
YU GI OH! ABRIDGED
At this point, I think it's basically become its own fandom. And my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged character has to be Kaiba.
In his own words:
"I have all the cool lines, I have all the best outfits, and I have the most powerful monsters! No one would be watching this show except for me!"
After actually getting to read a fair chunk of the actual Yu-Gi-Oh! manga, Kaiba definitely grew on me as an actual character (curse you, big brother moe! curse youuuuuuuuuuu), especially that scene where he's reunited with Mokuba at the end of the Duelist Kingdom arc. ;~; I ONLY TEARED UP A LITTLE TINY BIT, OKAY. As for LK's interpretation of him, I love his snark, his deep gravelly voice, and his Memetic Badassery taken to its logical conclusion. I also love that he sometimes seems like the Only Sane Man left in the show. And his money serves as a handy-dandy convenient plot device when necessary! He basically drives half the events of the plot of the show, both abridged and unabridged.
Finally, he's really fun to quote. As is everyone in the Abridged Series, but especially Kaiba.
