Man, I forgot what it was like to actually post about myself, lol |D

Okay, so at least Star Driver has some dignity as an anime. Yeah, sure, it's a Magical Girl anime disguised as a mecha anime where the mechas are run by the users' sex drives and the main character saves his rival from predatory lolis with the power of his intense gayness, but you can actually read shit into it and stuff. There is at least the pretense of some sort of faint dignity buried underneath the sparkles and rainbows.

Which, of course, apparently Cannot Happen to me.

Which appears to be why I have suddenly become a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh GX.


Not the original series, mind (not that I'm not a casual fan anyway). That would be too dignified. I mean GX.

Finally: the real point of this post.

I'm thinking about taking a hiatus for a week in all my games, as a Band-Aid measure until I can figure my life out.

I just did my first afternoon shift yesterday.

For those of you who have not heard me bitching about this for the past two weeks, I just began a summer job at a book printing company working on the production floor. I have to wear earplugs and steel-toed boots. I have to load things into machines. I have to stand and lift things for eight hours. That is basically the gist of this job. It is exhausting, both physically and mentally (in the way that completely mindless continual work is exhousting due to the sheer mental BOREDOM that occurs while your feet try to gnaw themselves from your ankles), and though I have time in the mornings to tag, right now I don't know if I will be able to mentally handle it. I just said "mentally" like three times in a row. Augh.

Now, excuse me while I crawl somewhere and pass out.

Little Kuriboh's latest Naruto parody had me, quite literally, crying with laughter. And now my stomach hurts. I think what did it was Sasuke's short monologue: "I live such a tormented existence. Marred by being exceptionally gorgeous and popular with girls. No one could possibly understand the depth of my torment. Torment and girls. Girls with their breasts. They torment me so." I love how, without knowing anything about the show, somehow, he hit Sasuke on the head.

Sorry I've been so weird about posting lately. Either I'm too lazy to write much of anything or I get all wangsty and disable comments or whatever. Speaking of, I have to write up yesterday's diet status post. Maybe I'll group it with tonight's. Whatever.

...Still lazy.
