elementalhero Does anyone on my f-list play softball? Anyone? Because I'm going to feel like I'm talking to a wall here if not.
Lately, my dad and I have been clashing. A lot. Normally, it's my mom who tends to push my buttons, (which, apparently, is psychologically normal at this stage in my life? IDEK) but she and my sisters are away at camp, so it's just me and my dad here.
My dad and I always have gotten on well, insofar as I can remember. But, in the past two days, I have been made to cry twice in a single car ride on counts of, one, being fat, and two, being a bitch. That is minimal paraphrasing there.
Anyway, today, we were trying to fix my pitching motion, which has been on the fritz insomuch as it is the off-season and I've just been playing tournament summer ball with a team full of people who now hate me even though I've been with the frackers for two years of my life now and done everything in my power to be, I don't know, nice? and contributed much of my time and talent to the team? (more on that in another post--I don't think this one could take the wangst). And when my pitching motion goes on the fritz (which it does at least once per three months, regularly, for the past five years of my life), my dad becomes intolerable. Any opinion I have to offer on things that we've done and said before, being that I have retained all of it and he doesn't believe me, is classified as "attitude"; any expression on my face besides an empty and vacant smile becomes "she doesn't want to be here, the ungrateful wench"; any tone of voice other than "colorless" is "talking back" and "thinking she knows everything. fine, I won't say anything else. *stalks off like a five-year-old and makes me feel like a btich/scumbag and absolutely furious at the same time*.
But, am I wrong to be both confused and frustrated when he's telling me to do things that seem to defy the laws of physics and motion? I AM NOT ICHIGO FRACKING KUROSAKI. NOR AM I SASUKE UCHIHA--I CANNOT KICK SOMEONE AND FLOAT IN MIDAIR SO AS TO CONTINUE PUNCHING/KICKING THEM WHILE BEING HELD BY MY ANKLE.
