The Peggy Sue article. It's a fanfiction trope, and I knew of one that was very good and not only used the trope, but subverted it beautifully. So I suddenly had to share it with the rest of the Interwebz.
I hope this isn't just the first step into some horrible addiction...
The Peggy Sue article, being the fanfiction tropw where a character is sent back in time and, with the knowledge he/she has now, "fixes" crappy stuff that happens in the past (never mind the temporal ramifications of doing so...). There were a few well-known examples from various fandoms, and I spotted a fanfiction (not particularly good, but not awful) listed in the Naruto section.
Recalling one absolutely phenomenal Naruto fanfiction that did the trope so much better and subverted it fantabulously, and therefore deserved to be in the article, I had to edit in a link and a quick riff on how it matched/subverted the trope.
