She probably had a last name, back in Village Number 4, but she was young when Orochimaru took her and I'm guessing she forgot or never really remembered. Nobody in Sound seems to have last names, interestingly. (Alternatively, she's like Tenten or the Sand Sibs, and doesn't have one.)

And somehow, the idea of her crushing on Asuma is TOTALLY PERFECT and also kinda sad.
I used to do this, and Anko totally would. She wouldn't know how to be nice with people she cares about.
It totally would be.
*nods* I think part of the reason she act like she does is so people can't use it against her.
