Naruto

1. jaderhade .  Solely, fully, for no other reason, jaderhade .  She got into because an internet friend convinced her to, and then she got me into it by alluring me with Sasuke.  "HEY, LOOK AT THIS GUY, RANDOM," she said to me.  "HE IS HOT, NO?"  And I was forced to concede, "WELL, DJJKDJFK OKAY SO YEAH HE'S HOT, FINE."  And then it was just a gradual slide into total mental Narutardation.

2. Oh, I don't see myself leaving this fandom for a long time.

3. All arcs with Itachi in them.  dfskdksd also the filler that is going on right now in the anime is actually pretty good for filler and I enjoy it.  ALSO, MADARA.

4.  Ahahaha.  Ahaha.  Yes.

5.  Yes and no.  We need more smart people who are willing to think thinkythoughts and analyze characters and just generally be awesome, and fewer retarded fanbrats.  But the fandom is MONDO HUGE OH MY GOD, so we don't have a problem with quantity.  Just quality.


Fullmetal Alchemist

1. jaderhade  again!  Actually, it was her and a few of my old grade school friends at a sleepover before Memorial Day of my freshman year.  They made me watch the first sixteen episodes of the anime, and I was hooked.  FMA, actually, was the series that popped my anime cherry.  Yeah.  That's right. 

2. I still read the manga, though I only follow the American release of this one because I want to make it last forever.  I'm super excited about the new anime, but I have yet to see it.

3. I love the extended Barry the Chopper stuff in the (first) anime, especially the scene with Ed crying when he finds Nina's "corpse" (i.e., the bloodstained wall)  Also, everything having to do with Ling (LING YAO OH MY GOD THIS MAN).

4. I'm more of a passive member of this fandom; I hang back and just watch/read it and mostly only discuss with my RL friends when it comes up.  OH, AND I MET VIC MIGNOGNA.  :DDDDDDDDD

5. I actually think FMA seems to be fine where it is, in terms of popularity--enough to get it exposure and recognition, but not so many that it becomes a candidate for Francise Zombiefication, which is something I always fear in my smaller fandoms.
 

Danny Phantom

1. It was sort of an accident, actually, lol.  I was on the phone with an old friend, Samantha, and watching Nickelodeon randomly, and the new (at the time) one-hour special Reign Storm was on, and I was like, "lol what is this?" into the phone, and Samantha was like, "Oh!  Danny Phantom!  I love this show!"  and then she ranted about it to me over the phone.  So I started watching it and fell completely in love.  DP was only my second "real fandom" (the first was Kingdom Hearts).

2. I've long moved on.  Nick did not just murder the show; it raped it, mutilated it, dismembered it, and scattered its remains across several trash cans in a New York City alleyway.

3. Fave episodes: Control Freaks, The Ultimate Enemy (evil fuuuuuutuuuure, omnomnom), Identity Crisis, Micro-Management, and...oh, god, I can't remember the title of the last one, augh.  The one with Spectra, the evil psychiatrist, and Jazz, and Danny being all emo, and just their relationship and she is a loving caring older sister, skdfhjkfhsjkhd~

4. I used to write fanfiction; I don't anymore.  :C  I miss the fandom, though; it was small, but unusually smart in general, and very welcoming, and like you'd get great positive smart feedback on your stories and stuff.  *sob* I sometimes really miss it.

5. Well, Season 3 was a trainwreck, and I haven't watched it in years, but wow.  DP was a great show with a fantastic fandom.  I'd say, we ought to get a giant massive influx of people and demand a reworking of the show, only better with MOAR CONTINUITY and LESS FAIL FROM NICKELODEON.

Well, basically, it was like. They delayed production of new episodes all the time and started Executive Meddling, and one of the good writers got sacked (or left, not sure which), and the plots of the episodes started deteriorating, and they started trying to overmarket it, and it just fell apart. I was distraught, really.
