So, okay, apparently according to the spoilers in this post (visible only to members of chuunin), Danzou's right eye/arm are somehow related to an Uchiha.

We had been kind of thinking along those lines.

But what we find out is that the Uchiha that somehow has to do with them in a vague and undefined way?

eta: Oh, re:his genjutsu, I'm not sure (being that these are early spoilers and I'm not getting this firsthand), but the impression I get is that he was capable of casting a mental-influencing genjutsu so subtly that the enemy would be incapable of even figuring out they were being influenced, versus Ino's techniques or regular genjutsu illusions that can be dispelled once realization hits.
