You know... I loved The Hobbit and as a kid adored Tolkin's Roverrandom but I was never able to make it through The Lord of the Rings. It sounds weird but the separate books for the two storylines just seemed so dense to get through.

I should give it another go sometime....

Also, do you mean Harry Potter is "Required Reading" or Watchmen? (Or both? Cause I could dig that.)
