So in a fun series of computer shenanigans and Windows RAR-related adventures, I managed to get my hands on all the Season One Code Geass sound dramas.
They were all really good (I like the dub actors, so what, sue me), but I think the prize has to go to Stage 12.55, "Ticket of Dreams," in which Shirley agonizes over asking Lelouch out with her concert tickets, going through a series of more and more unlikely Imagine Spots, culminating in the absolute terror of Lelouch being engaged to marry every single member of the Student Council. I was in stitches; I had to muffle my laughter with my pillow because otherwise the entire floor would have thought I was crazy. (They probably do anyway e__e)
...I was going to use my Shirley/Lelouch icon for this entry but then I realized it was too heartbreaking. ;;;;;;;;;;;

I basically spent all day internally squeeing because one of our new muns at Kannagara is a former Suzaku-mun who has not expressed aversion to the idea of bringing him to Kannagara; cue me biting my lip for seven hours because I promised myself I wouldn't be obnoxious and startpersuading PESTERING (call a spade a spade, self) her to maybe possibly please oh please for the love of god bring him what do you want I can give you money.
Icon vaguely related because we clogged chat with Geass talk for like an hour and she passed on the relevant information to me that Word of God states Shirley conceivably could have been Lelouch's primary love interest had she not been killed off (same Word of God also basically confirmed that Lelouch and Suzaku areHeterosexual Life Partners, which also made me squee SOB WHAT HAS THIS SHOW DONE TO ME) and I got all excited because HAHA SUCK IT MY PRIMARY HET SHIP WAS CANON. EXCEPT NOT. BUT KIND OF. FROM A CERTAIN POINT OF VIEW. /sob Shirley why did you have to die

So basically I have determined that the Naruto anime resolves only to make awesomeness when I am not watching for weeks at a time.

So basically, I have discovered why I can't quit this series.
And it isn't because of Team Hawk. Nor is it because of Madara, or Itachi, or the capslocky ridiculousness, or the woobiness, or the anime or the manga or any of that. Those are merely contributing factors.
Quite simply, it's because Naruto has the power to make me incredibly, irrationally, ridiculously happy.
And that's all I need to justify it.
