I love this one because it's bright and colorful, it has Karin in it, and it's a pretty triumphant icon. I generally tend to use it when fangirling or generally expressing a "heck yes!" kind of agreement/affirmation.

I uploaded this one because I didn't have a Team Hawk icon, which is an inexcusable crime. I love the pink background and how the iconmaker took a serious scene and turned it into FUNTIEMZ just by coloring and adding lulzy text. Perfectly captures how much Team Hawk is made of love. I also like this one out of all the Hawk icons I have on my hard drive because it doesn't have Sasuke in it, and I'm a big fan of the dynamic of his team when they don't have the nucleus of their FEARLESS LEADER to keep them from devolving into their former Ragtag Bunch of Misfits mess. Also, it has the word orgy in it. 8D

I like text icons but never seem to use them enough. I grabbed this one because I love the font and color, I love Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged, and I love how funny it is in context, but found that when I use it to be ironic, people tend to assume I'm actually angry (a logical assumption). So it's turned into my "actually angry" icon I reserve for wanking. Not my original intention, but useful overall.

Another text icon, from the Avatar Abridged series this time. This one is less useful than the YGO one because I never can tell when it's a good time to use it, but I use it a lot anyway. I like the fonts, again, and the colors.

I love this icon for several reasons. One, I ship Sasuke/Karin like burning. Two, I love the warm colors, and particularly the coloring of Karin's hair as black (which I ALWAYS THOUGHT WAS THE CASE until she got color pages, and I was like "fuschia? lolwat?"). Three, I love how they both look kind of comfortable with each other, like she's kind of just resting on his shoulder and he's kind of like, "um I should be all pissy at her, but it's too much trouble :/" and klsjfksljfdskl they just look so cute~

This is my favorite Karin icon because it's really beautiful. I love the crop, I love the colors, especially the scattered light-bubbles effect, and I love Karin's expression, where it's determined but kind of wistful, with the sky behind her... It just looks great. Amazingly, this is even a screenshot from the anime, which NEVER gives Karin the gravitas she deserves (>>>>>|). I also had fun with the keyword and descriptive text--the keyword being "Karin [colorblind]", which is a word that just popped into my head when I saw it. Probably because of the colors, and her glasses (lol I remember being blind as a bat when I had glasses, probably another reason I love her), but maybe on a deeper level that Karin kind of sees the word around her in shades of gray, I think, where the only important thing is what's going to get her to her goals faster. The descriptive text, "born to gaze into night skies," is a line from the song "Australia," which I associate with Karin. (Interestingly, I used another line from the song, "damned to pining through the windowpanes," as the description for the SasuKarin icon above.)
