Slightly less pointless post

Okay, so if I were to describe Twilight: Teh Movie, it would look something like this:
TWILIGHT: THE MOVIE IN WHICH IT IS MORE ENTERTAINING TO WATCH THE BACKGROUND THAN THE FOREGROUND.
Seriously, nearly every scene had something lulzy happening behind the foreground of ANGSTWANGSTDRAMANGST. It made me giggle throughout the entire thing. Also, applause to RPattz for making Edward into more of a believable character, i.e. the social retard who is emotionally abusive and too busy hating himself to realize that no one else really hates him, so he doesn't have to do the "pushing away" thing as much as he thinks. Except he kind of does, because he is a vampire. Plus I loved how he looked like he was going to throw up when Bella walked into their Biology. But anyway, being able to see Edward as a less-than-perfect-being outside of the prism of Bella's brain-damaged POV was refreshing.
There was something else I was going to use this post for, but I forgot--WAIT OH YEAH! A MEME! Ganked from

Date: 2008-11-22 09:54 pm (UTC)Mm, it's a quote from Cleolinda's lulzy recap of Midnight Sun (Twilight from Edward's point of view). She does amazingly hilarious recaps of books from the Twilight series, mainly for...maybe New Moon, but definitely Eclipse, Midnight Sun, and an epically huge Breaking Dawn one. I really recommend them--they're hilarious!
Er, if you know Cleolinda but not about Midnight Sun, then apparently during Twilight some vampires came through the area--Peter and Charlotte, actually--and Edward pretty much ignores them to
stalkwatch Bella. When they leave, he overhear them thinking, pretty much, that he seems to be acting strangely and they wonder what's wrong with him.no subject
