Okay.

Who on God's green earth is xypusl ?  For the past couple of months, this user keeps friending me, without a word, and then defriending me, and then refriending me a couple weeks later.  And I looked at the journal, and it's just freaking weird.  I don't think she's a real person.  I just don't know.

I'm freaking out about this.

You can't ban them from seeing your public entries (which i refuse to start making Friends-Only because I sympathize with most lurkers), but you can ban them from commenting, which I did. *shrugs*

I'm not sure what "ban_set" does, but I took action and banned her/him/it from commenting, so my mind is slightly more at ease.

Yeah, I second this. Go to the admin console, there's a link to it from SW if you aren't sure how to find it. Sounds like a spambot thingamajig.

I never friend someone back if they don't comment on one of my entries or something to say, "Hi! I think you are cool and I friended you! Is that okay?" You know.
