So I was going to write a hugelong entry about Ruby's character, dissecting his relationships with his father and his Pokemon and the people around him and how he manages to be a huge woobie and also kind of a Jerk Ass and then a woobie again, but like, DARK WOOBIE-ISM in which he kind of subverts Woobie norms, and then I was going to talk about Sapphire and how awesome she is, and how cheap it was that she was completely kicked out of the final battle just so the full depth of Ruby's honestly screwed-up character could be explored, which upset me because I think Sapphire could have been just as screwed up as he was but they didn't bother after she spent the whole arc kicking ass and *pants pants pants, ran out of breath*

And then I went and read the FireRed/LeafGreen arc and completely forgot about it in favor of squealing "SILVER, SILVER, SILVER, SILVER, SILVER, RED, MEWTWO, YELLOW, SILVER, DEOXYS, MOSTLY SILVER, GREEN, SILVER, BLUE, BLUE, BLUE, STILL MOSTLY SILVER, GIOVANNI, OH MY GOD SILVER OH MY GOD"--*shot*

And then I forgot about Ruby and Sapphire again. ^^;;
