My headache is starting to feel better, but I think that's because my left eye is finally wearing off. Hopefully my goddamn right contact will fricking work tonight so I don't have mismatched vision again tomorrow, because I refuse to have such a crappy day ever again if I can help it.

Ungh, in the time it took for me to write this entry, my headache fully returned thanks to the people next door turning on the stereo, and my roommate getting back and getting on the phone with someone in Korean. Let me tell you something about native Korean speakers. Unlike the flowing, syllabic Japanese language, or the sharp, vowel/intonation-intense Chinese language, the Korean language as it is spoken by a native speaker sounds like someone dumped a bunch of misshapen, hybrid vowels and choppy consonants into a blender, pureed them, and then spoke the resulting words while dribbling a strawberry smoothie out of their mouth.

Seriously, I don't know how a human throat can make spoken words sound like the sound you make when you choke on something liquid, like bouillabaisse. Or barf. It drives me insane. Yes, I am aware I sound like an uncultured asshole. But I am an uncultured asshole with a huge headache.

~Just saw Public Enemies.  I didn't really like it--the cinematography was weird, the plot was nebulous, and the lighting was awkward.  I just don't think it was my kind of movie, is all--I know a few people who said they loved it.

~Saw Harry Potter 6 again last night.  THE FORESHADOWING AND SYMBOLISM IS SOOO EPIC, EVEN MORE SO THE SECOND TIME AROUND, EEEE~  Like the seven rocks lined up on Tom Riddle's window in the orphanage and the random items like photographs they focus on for a couple of seconds that hint at the Horcruxes to come, eeeeeee~  Also: in the scene where Harry touches the ring?  And it spins around and he gets all those crazy flashes of Voldemort?  AND THEN THERE'S A PAUSE AND HE QUIETLY, SUBTLY, DOES THAT NECK-CRACK THING HE DOES IN MOVIE 5???  AUUUUUUUGH BEAUTIFUL FORESHADOWING, DAN HOW DO YOU MAKE A NERVOUS TWITCH SO SEXY~

~I bought some music from iTunes yesterday.  I got the Watchmen soundtrack (want the movie sooooo baaaaaad), which is lovely, and I...also bought...the song "Mmmbop," by Hanson.  SHUT UP STOP JUDGING ME IT IS MY CHILDHOOD WE ARE TALKING ABOUT HERE.

~Have discovered the lunacy of Olde English Comedy.  Seriously, check out these guys' sketches--totally hilarious.  My favorite, though long, is "Cave Miners."

I hesitate to call this a SasuSaku FST in the classical sense of the ship. (originally, I had been planning to call it an "anti" SasuSaku, but changed my mind because that sounded too negative and wanky) Rather, this is intended as a reflection of how I think their relationship needs to be portrayed: bittersweet (more bitter than sweet), betrayed, angry, strong, regretful, wistful, with a touch of hope at the end. Thus, I arranged the songs I chose in an order that I hope captures that sort of emotion.

Also, I wanted to show off how good I've gotten at GIMP. *preens*

I've become obsessed with downloading anime themes/obscure music from the Internet.  I'm just asking to get a virus, aren't I?  IF U HAS ANY, PRZ TO BE GIVING LINKS, KTHX~

A totally random thought that has been mulling around in my brain: I walk around all day planning out these well-thought, well-spoken rants or long posts to post, and then I go to post them and get bored.  I'm such a loser.  But!  Here's a snapshot of some topics that have been brewing:

--My night college speech class I'm taking at a local university, and how much I HATE IT WITH HAETING.
--Visiting Colgate University and falling in love with it forever.  GOING HERE NAO, KTHX~
--A long rant on how fandom has become so angry and unfun on the internet, especially long series like Naruto and Bleach.  Look.  Let me like Sasuke in peace, and quit barfing your wank all over me.  I don't see why I have to develop a guilt complex over enjoying the escapism of a dorky anime cartoon after being shoved into a fluourescent-lit classroom and those stupid chairdesks for seven straight hours, going to chorus/workout/work/night class, coming home, racing to get the bare minimum of work done before the next day, collapsing into bed, and then get ting up and doing it all over again.  LET ME HAVE MY SHINY, BRAINLESS ENTERTAINMENT.  I DON'T WANT TO UNDERSTAND A LITTLE OF YOUR HATRED.  (haha, lame chapter 416 reference for the lose win)
--Why the hell do I keep missing my exboyfriend?
--Jealousy, and how I seem to be secretly susceptible to it, especially (and this is the weird thing) concerning other people's relationships.

We're watching Pushing Daisies in my Creative Writing class while my teacher grades our anthologies for this quarter!  I LOVE THIS SHOW WITH SO MUCH LOVING LOVE.  :DDDD

Still listening to Panic's new stuff.  Fricking A, man, I haven't been this addicted to a single album since I burned My Chemical Romance's The Black Parade back at the beginning of last school year.  Like, seriously.
